The question was:

I’ve got a shop which I am re-mortgaging.  We’ve had to self-cert our income because the accounts are not ready yet.
The broker has suggested a mortgage with a company called Interbay, it seems expensive, but my solicitor has looked at the offer and says that I should not sign because of an interest guarantee.  Can you tell me what this means?
